Boatyard

The Boat Yard adjoining the Marina and lifting dock offers an ideal place to carry out maintenance works. Adequate working space is provided and lifts out and re-launch dates are flexible given reasonable notice. You may employ your own contractor without penalty (subject to conditions).

A sail makers operate from onsite premises, The Marina holds a list of specialist trades persons and suppliers and its own workshops can undertake some types of work.

Storage, (short term), of small craft in the compound will be charged at Marina rates.

Payment terms: Payment due not later than 21st day of each calendar month, unless otherwise stated, and before leaving the Marina premises.

Rates for multi-hulls, commercial and certain other vessels, major refits or any other purpose requiring additional working or storage area and erection of covers etc. are subject to management permission and may incur additional charges. Please ask for details.

Lifting and General Services

Boat Lifting

Use of 50 tonne travel lift or yard crane.

Type of lift required :

Single Lift - Price includes standard (*) chocking, if required
Single Heavy Lift - In excess of 30 tonnes, or requiring 4 strops
Survey Lift - Lift, hold and relaunch
Heavy Survey Lift - In excess of 30 tonnes, or requiring 4 strops
No boat lifting required

Please note : Standard chocking may not include the handling of certain deep keel boats or chocking to specific levels or heights, or rechecking to customer requirements.

General Lifting with 9 tonne yard crane

Cranage charges include crane and operator. Where a rigger and or banksmen is required to conform to safety and insurance regulations, extra charges will be incurred.

High Pressure Wash Pump

Use of wash pump is mandatory for for Yard Berth and most transport companies.

Prices are quoted for first hour, or part thereof. Heavily fouled boats needing additional manual scraping will be charged by the half hour.
