From the M5 motorway

• Leave the M5 at J18, (Brown sign for Bristol Zoo)
• Take the second exit at the roundabout for “PORTWAY – A4”
• Follow the brown signs for “SS. Gt. Britain”, via Merchant’s Rd, Avon Crescent and Cumberland Rd
• Turn left at the River City Pub onto Hanover Place – BEFORE the SS. Gt. Britain

From the M4 motorway

• Leave the M4 at J19 for Bristol
• M32, continue onto the A4302
• Keep in the left hand lane and follow the signs for “THROUGH TRAFFIC A4044”
• At Temple Circus/Temple meads take the A4 – Bath, Wells A37, A39 exit
• At the Bath Bridge roundabout take the second exit for “M5 South, Weston, Taunton, Avonmouth”
• Follow the brown signs for “SS. Gt. Britain” via Cumberland Road
• Turn right onto Hanover Place AFTER the exit for the SS. Gt. Britain

LARGE LOADS PLEASE USE M5 ROUTE

From A370

• Continue forward onto the A3209 and over the Plimsoll Swing Bridge
• Select the right hand lane for the “SS Gt. Britain”
• After the traffic lights (double set) move to the left hand lane and cross Junction Lock Bridge
• Bear left at the Nova Scotia pub onto Avon Crescent
• Join Cumberland Road
• At the River City Pub turn left onto Hanover Place BEFORE the SS Great Britain
